Calicem salutaris accipiam ...
(I will take the chalice of salvation ...)

The Story

Priest. Professor. Musician. Vampire. John Hance is damned to life everlasting drinking the Blood of Christ instead of the blood of humans, sealed within a pact that no saint, pope, philosopher or Doctor of the Church had the imagination to include among the punishments of Hell.

It was a street where discontent was the norm, and defeat was cultivated as another name for victory.
